The Lahore High Court on Wednesday disqualified Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) lawmaker Iqbal Langhrial for holding a fake degree. The PML-Q leader’s membership was challenged by one of his colleagues who accused him of holding a fake degree.
After examining evidence and hearing the arguments, the LHC revoked Langhrial’s assembly membership. In the past, the courts have revoked the memberships of various lawmakers at the national and provincial legislatures for holding fake degrees.
