In a statement, POEA administrator Hans Cacdac said the agency had submitted for approval and processing the employment and travel documents of nine workers.

Documents included TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority), which were deemed to be fake by the Manila TESDA office.

Recruitment agencies in the country hold the responsibility for ensuring the authenticity of all documents submitted for processing and approval by the POEA.
