Ms Warintorn was accused of falsifying documents for the registration of a private company and for a capital injection for another limited partnership when she worked at Prachin Buri’s Business Development Office. The office filed a complaint with police after finding out the documents were fake.

Police said the Prachin Buri native had changed her name seven times and had worked as a phone operator for several commercial banks after quitting the job at the business development office.

The suspect claimed she was assigned to type documents by her boss without knowing the documents were bogus and was paid only a few hundred baht.

She said she was aware of the arrest warrant for her but it was not convenient to travel to the eastern province as she worked in Bangkok. She is to be taken to Muang Prachin Buri police station to face further legal proceedings.
