Five persons prepare bogus documents, grab woman’s property worth Rs 90 lakh; booked

Sadar police have booked five persons, including two women, on the charges of preparing bogus documents and then grabbing a woman’s property worth Rs 90,00,000.

According to police, the five accused have been identified as Ratan Chandrakant Bobde (26), Kirti Praful Bobde (33), both residents of Plot No. 334, Sharda Sqaure, Ganesh Nagar, Nagpur, Jagdish Krushnarao Nagose (25), resident of Dighori, Harshal Jairam Mundle (26), resident of 373, Sadbhavna Nagar, Nandanvan and an unidentified woman holding fake name.

The accused connived with each other and in a well-planned conspiracy, on 23.04.2014, introduced the unidentified accused woman to Sub-Registrar Class-2, near Chhota Tajbagh as Veena Manna Borkar, sister-in-law of complainant Umesh Sambhaji Borkar (49), resident of 276, Anand Nagar, Netaji Market, Nagpur.

The accused unidentified woman also prepared an Election Card in the name of Veena Borkar and then procured a bogus purchase agreement of Veena Borkar’s landed property. With the help of the bogus document, the accused Ratan Chandrakant Bobde and Kirti Praful Bobde then indulged in preparing a fake sale-deed agreement by purchasing the plot of land from the accused unidentified woman posing as Veena Borkar. During the bogus deal, the other two accused Jagdish Krushnarao Nagose and Harshal Jairam Mundle attested the bogus documents as witnesses and fraudulently identified the accused unidentified woman as real Veena Borkar.

Finally, with the help of fake documents, all the five accused cheated and grabbed Veena Borkar’s plot of land worth Rs 90,00,000.

Sakkardara API Thakre, based on the complaint of Umesh Sambhaji Borkar, booked all the five accused under Sections 420, 468, 471, 34 of the IPC and probing the matter further.
