Deciding to strike at the root cause to deal with the problem of fake mark-sheets, Barkatullah University will recommend a comprehensive high-level inquiry to look into the matter. The decision to this effect comes after the detection of yet another fake mark-sheet on Wednesday. The authorities have come across 354 fake mark-sheets in the past two years so far.

Says BU registrar, Sanjay Tiwari, “We will recommend the high-level inquiry to investigate the case.” The university has initiated several measures to detect such cases, he claims. The mark-sheets and degrees provided by the university have special features which can not replicated. “This helps us detect the fake documents, he asserts.
