FIA Immigration authorities on Saturday claimed to have arrested three passengers trying to travel on fake travell documents. The spokesman of FIA said that two passengers Mudassar Husain and Muhammad Bilal were arrested for attempting to travell to Cyprus by flight Ek-623 on fake Visa.
During immigration process their documents were found fake. During preliminary interrogation the accused told that a travel agent, ‘Amir’ provide them visa against payment of Rs 2, 50,000 each.
They told the immigration officers that the said travel agent was involved in human smuggling and had received such amounts from many others. They claimed that in the past he successfully sent many abroad.
The third passenger Barik Khan resident of Peshawar arrived on emergency passport from Kuwait by flight NL-442 to Lahore. During interrogation it was found that he was involved in a drug case and sentenced for 15 years in Kuwait. He traveled from Peshawar airport 15 years back. All the three passengers were sent to Anti human trafficking Cell (AHTC) for further action where a case has been registered against them.
