The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested 13 passengers, including a woman, travelling on fake documents to France, at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport, FIA sources said Monday.
The FIA staff deployed at BBIA intercepted a group of 13 people when they produced fake documents of an NGO, FIA sources said. The FIA Immigration on verification of the documents, found them fake.
The passengers leaving for France were offloaded and arrested. They were shifted to the FIA Directorate in Rawalpindi for further investigation. The FIA, later, detained some employees of the NGO involved in providing fake documents against heavy amount.
