According to CID officials, Manju Rathore, 28, a resident of Dewas, was caught by CID on charges of using fake documents for getting recruited as stenographer-cum-assistant sub-inspector in Madhya Pradesh police. The recruitment was done by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) on the behest of Madhya Pradesh Police in year 2013.

Sources said Manju Rathore had used fake certificate of Post-graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) which was allegedly issued by Barkatullah Univesity, which, however, does not conduct such course as it came to light after an investigation.

On November 20, a CID team led by inspector Shailja Bhadauria nabbed Manju Rathore and interrogated her. She told the interrogators she had got the certificate made with help of Kishore Choudhary, who works as computer operator at KP College in Dewas, at cost of Rs. 15,000.

When Choudhary was caught and questioned, he revealed that he had got the certificate made by his acquaintance Mohan Jat, a resident of Nasrullahganj in Sehore district. The CID later caught Mohan Jat, who revealed that he had got certificate made from Sangita Sharma, who worked as regional manager at a private company in Bhopal.

Following the information, CID team raided Sangita Sharma’s office and caught her.
